Big success for La Grande Degustation de Montreal

This year it was Portugal’s turn to be the country honoured at the Grande Dégustation de Montréal, and 12,000 visitors were able to meet a host of Portuguese wine producers who were invited to the Palais des Congrès by Carlos Ferreira to showcase their high quality wines and ports.

Presented by the Association québécoise des agences de vins, bières et spiritueux and the SAQ from November 8 to 10 at Montreal’s Palais des Congrès, the Grande Dégustation de Montréal is considered the year’s top wine industry event in Quebec. Thirty-nine Portuguese wine producers were among the 210 producers from around 20 countries who took part. They showcased over 1,200 products including hundreds of exclusive private imports.
